Going to an
IEP
If you are going to an IEP there are many things you will need to know. The above gives you an overview of writing an IEP goal. When you write an IEP goal it should be specific, contain actions words, be measurable, time limited and realistic. Who goes to an IEP? The parents, regular education teacher, special education teacher, a representative of the school, representatives from other agencies that are providing services, child if appropriate, and other individuals invited by the parent.What is the STAR test? STAR stands Standardized Testing and Reporting and is done in California. There are four tests the California Standards Tests (CSTs), The California Modified Assessment (CMA), The California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA) and the Standards-based Tests in Spanish (STS)
